You Don’t Need To Decide Which Collection You’d Like Until Your Proofing Gallery Is Ready. This Way, You’ve Had Time To See Your Images And The Samples In Studio. Your Session Fee Is Not Applied Towards Your Collection. Book In Your 2Nd Or 3Rd Trimester To Ensure Availability For Your Due Date.

The Process
1 . CONSULTATION & PLANNING
After securing your session fee and contract, your due date is secured on my calendar. By taking a limited about of newborn sessions each month, it allows for flexibility in scheduling (since we know baby’s arrive on their own time!). We’ll then schedule a one-on-one consultation via phone to plan all the details of your newborn or maternity session. We’ll discuss your preferences for color schemes, any specific props you’d like to use, outfits, or anything special you’d like to include. Everything will be provided for baby so that all you have to do is show up with baby, pacifier and milk! If doing family portraits, we’ll discuss styling everyone’s wardrobe and how best to prepare for session day. We’ll also discuss pricing details and can plan ahead for what artwork would best fit your family and your home best.
2 . SESSION DAY
Once baby arrives, you’ll reach out to me as soon as you’re settled at home from the hospital. We’ll schedule a session time/date within 3 weeks of baby’s arrival. You’ll arrive at my studio located in east Houston, 77015 area. I’ll have everything ready for you and baby so you can sit back and relax while I capture special memories of your little one! I’ll bring my baby whispering skills and work my magic and make sure baby is comfortable every step of the way. I’ll guide your family in all poses and I’ll bring the silly (and patience) for any toddler siblings. It’s recommended that any younger toddler siblings be taken out for ice cream or to a local park for the remainder of the session or bring quiet entertainment. At this time you’ll also be able to see and feel samples of wall art and albums for your ordering. Please no more than 2 adults in the studio for newborn sessions.
3 . REVEAL AND ORDERING
After your session, we’ll you’ll receive your proofing gallery via email and place your order. Here you’ll see your images for the first time and select which collection you’d like to order. Add ons and additional images are also available for purchase. If you chose a one-on-one ordering appointment, I’ll walk you through what images would work best for your products and home.
There is a $250 newborn session fee ($150 for maternity) to reserve your session.

4 . PRODUCT DELIVERY
This is when it all comes full circle! Once you see your beautiful portraits framed, printed or in a keepsake album… you’ll instantly know that you made the right decision in choosing your Laura Alicia Photography as your Houston Newborn Photographer. There’s nothing like seeing your little one’s face in full detail and preserved for a lifetime to cherish. Your products are first delivered to me for final inspection and quality control. Once ready, we’ll set up a time that’s convenient for you to pick up your products at the studio, or I can delivery them personally to you for easy convenience! At this time, we can also discuss if you’b be interested in coming back to the studio for six month milestone or a birthday cake smash session!
